MY Story STARTED OFF SIMILAR TO YoursâĻ
Jessi Green is a revivalist, preacher, wife and mom of four and leader of Salt Church and Saturate Global.
In 2009, she was radically saved in her apartment after a traumatic break-up and drug-filled lifestyle working as a doorman in New York City nightclubs. After encountering the love and power of God, she sold everything and traveled as a missionary working with orphanages, preaching the Gospel, and learning to live a supernatural lifestyle.
Jessi is the director and visionary of Saturate which is a global evangelism movement that is uniting the Church in reaching those that donât know Jesus, baptizing them, and making disciples. She resides outside Wilmington, NC with her husband, Parker, and their four children and where they lead Salt Church together.

A Simple Question that Will Change Your Life
Only four years earlier, during winter 2016 while living in New York City, I had a conversation with God that changed the entire trajectory of my life.
I heard God ask me, âJessi, what do you look like fully alive?â
The truth is, I didnât really know, nor had I stopped long enough to ask this question. I closed my eyes and whispered, âI donât know, Lord, please show me.â To be honest, this wasnât an attempt for me to have a really radical, life-altering moment. In all actuality, I was being lazy and wanted my âquiet timeâ to include more sleep!
As I closed my eyes, I saw myself walking on a huge beach. I then saw a flash of different images. I smelled salty air and the scent of burning bonfires. Images of violent waves crashing on rocks, deep con- versations about possibilities, dreams, and spiritual revelations.
.
I saw strangers having God encounters saying, âWow, Jesus is really real.â There were flashes of me preaching with passionâon piers, under large circus tents, and at dining room tables. I saw myself cozy in an all-white hotel room, overlooking bluffs while writing and drinking tea out of a beautiful porcelain cup.
My soul immediately filled with hope.
The problem was, my life at the time didnât look anything like what I saw in this vision.
I knew something had to change.
So now, I ask you this same question.
What would your life look like if you were fully alive?
I am not asking you what your life would look like if you were a better
Christian or if you were finally recognized for all of your God-given tal- ents and abilities. I am wanting you to take a moment, a breath, a âSelahâ from the busyness of life and the constant distractions to ask the God of the universe what you look like when you are fully alive.
